I've always known that fresh-roasted single origin coffee beans are more suitable. But so many people sell and drink coffee with roast dates of weeks to months prior. I need to really learn why fresh-roasted beans are better and share this new knowledge with my readers. Here is what I figured out.
In my small artisan roasting business I am very careful to require on plenty more wholesale business concern. Seems odd I know but my reasoning is the fact , since wholesale green prices have increased (we pay 2 or 3 times what we paid 1 yr ago) in which we can barely double our wholesale prices and make much of a profit after costs. I am focusing on retail, however i have that option to be a roaster since i can roast my own coffee
